The Four Thumps is a fantastic way to push the “reset” button for your body’s energies.
This technique is broken down in to four main components: the Stomach Thump, the K-27 Thump, the Thymus Thump, and the Spleen Thump. You can deeply tap and/or massage these points to receive the benefits.
Tap on Stomach meridian in the center of each of the cheek bones. This will help to send energy back down through the body and off the second toe for grounding and stability. If you are feeling unsure in your surroundings or if you have an upset stomach, the Stomach Thump will help to settle you.
Tapping on K-27 points “flips” your energies around if they have started flowing backward. This literally means your body is moving forward and your energies are moving backward! If you are drowsy, this is a great way to give yourself a boost. Tapping on K-27 points not only can keep you awake, but also can help you think more clearly.
The Thymus Thump achieves a number of important tasks including awakening your body’s energies, boosting your immune system, and increasing your strength and vitality. Thumping on your thymus can also help if you are feeling bombarded by negative energies.
The last of the Four Thumps is the Spleen Thump. Tapping or massaging these points will lift your energy levels, balance your blood sugar, and bolster your immune system. This is a wonderful “thump” to help you metabolize everything from the food you have ingested to the environment within which you find yourself.
